Yiwu Social Welfare Institute The Yiwu Social Welfare Institute has a long tradition of adoptions. At the time of writing 143 Yiwu children are members of Ralph & Franice Stirling's Yiwu site www.yiwufamilies.org; the first registered child being adopted in 1995. A number of families have already visited the Social Welfare Institute - some even making the front page of the Yiwu daily news! In conjunction with our adoption of Daji, the Director gave us some pictures of the Institute buildings, the playground and the nannies.
